Over the years, these have been built a number of different ways. Using a variety of different sized wood, the main frame for the painting is built. Sometimes a plywood layer is added on top of the frame. Then canvas stretched over it. Once the paintings are complete I have built a few with a floating style frame around it so it doesn’t cover any of the art for a sleek modern look.
